Fun Facts
- At the 1913 premiere of Stravinksy`s The Rite of Spring, an audience protest broke out. It was so loud that neither the dancers or the audience could hear the music properly.
- Towards the end of his life, one of Stravinksy’s favorite games to play was Scrabble.
- Stravinksy once lived in a Swiss hotel where he would never compose unless he knew no one could hear him. Later, a dealer set Stravinsky up with a piano stored in a chicken coop to solve this problem. In that chicken coop, he wrote some of his best works.
